The Durham Fair Foundation, Established In 1996 By The Durham Agricultural Fair Association, Inc., Is Dedicated To Preserving And Promoting Connecticut'S Agricultural And Rural Heritage. By Sponsoring Educational Events, Programs, And Exhibits, The Foundation Enriches The Community And Honors Its Agricultural Roots.
Under The Guidance Of President Joe Greenbacker, Vice President Marc D’Orvilliers, Secretary Jack Pieper, And Treasurer Chris Balay, The Foundation Also Acts As The Charitable Arm Of The Association. It Gratefully Accepts Tax-Deductible Donations As A 501(C)(3) Corporation.
The Durham Fair, Entirely Volunteer-Run, Offers An Array Of Roles, Including Ticket Sales, Exhibit Management, And Maintenance. Volunteers Receive Free Parking And Admission On Their Day Of Service, And Committee Members Enjoy These Perks For The Whole Fair Weekend.
